Danskammer House Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting, November 2017

On Sunday afternoon, November 12, Danskammer House innkeepers Linda and Ken Cool opened the 1870 colonial revival house to the local community to showcase the extensive renovations of the old residence and to invite the community to appreciate the bed and breakfast operation as a new lodging resource for their own out-of-town guests as well as visitors traveling from across the country and abroad.   The opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony involving local, regional and state officials and highlighted regional efforts to make the Hudson Valley an important tourist destination.
